Join us in welcoming Bella Robertson to our Customer Partnership Team! Prior to Kipsu, Bella studied Communication Studies and Film at Gustavus Adolphus College. In her free time, Bella enjoys hammocking, hiking, and playing cribbage. Being that she grew up in Hawaii, Bella naturally loves going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. We're so excited to have her a part of the Kipsu team and asked her to chat about her experience at Kipsu so far.
What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?
It was exciting to find a company that was eager to help improve individual growth, as well as making a difference in the world together. The authenticity behind every interaction I had throughout my interview process demonstrated to me that they cared about who I was as an individual. Kipsu embraces new technology, while still keeping human interaction and relationships as the center of our purpose.
What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?
Everyone on the Kipsu team is very welcoming and excited for each of us to begin our journey with the company. The atmosphere within the workspace is filled with energy, everyone taking initiative to be creative and diligent. I appreciate that everyone works together as a team, rather than seeking ways to find individual praise.
What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?
I am very excited to be working at a company that is perpetually changing, finding ways to improve and continuously curious. Personally, I want to continue finding ways to improve my interpersonal skills, find new creative avenues to share Kipsu and always remembering to always be authentic.
What is your favorite Kipsu core value?
My favorite Kipsu value is serve others. I appreciate the intentional emphasis Kipsu puts on having a relationship with other companies, rather than just a transaction. I have found this is the same way in which everyone within the company interacts with each other. There appears to be no divide between each team within the company, which is refreshing and inspiring.
If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?
I would choose to have dinner with David Attenborough, he narrates the BBC Planet Earth. The way in which he brings the natural world to life through narration is fascinating. I absolutely love exploring this world, especially learning about the vast array of animals. I believe that Planet Earth illuminates the raw nature that is so often hidden to us in our everyday lives. I am very passionate about environmental issues and feel that Sir Attenborough has dedicated his life to inspiring others.
