With summer officially here, Kipsuvians took to the outdoors to volunteer with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation at Elliot Park. Each quarter, Kipsu partners with a local non-profit and the whole team is invited to take a Friday afternoon to give back to the community.
Join us in welcoming Ryan Bloom to Kipsu as our a Software Engineer. Prior to Kipsu, Ryan was building ecommerce system integrations at SPS Commerce. Outside of work, you’ll find Ryan homebrewing, running, and playing Pokemon Go.
Join us in welcoming Keelie Swafford to the third round of Kipsu’s Entrepreneurship Leadership Rotational Program, the Gamma Cohort! Prior to Kipsu, Keelie attended St. Thomas and majored in Marketing. Keelie fills her free time with many outdoor activities from hiking and camping to canoeing. She also loves to paint and draw for leisure. We’re excited to have her join the Kipsu team and asked Keelie to share her experience with Kipsu so far.
Happy Father’s Day from Kipsu to you! We wanted to celebrate this special day by highlighting one of our amazing Kipsu fathers, Alex Buddington. Alex has been at Kipsu for about a year and a half now, and is part of our on-boarding and training leaders at Kipsu. He has two children, Owen and Olive. Alex recently welcomed baby Olive to the family and is excited to be a father of two and for Owen to be a big brother! Alex loves being active with his kids and enjoys going to parks, farmer’s markets, and just being outside as much as possible. We asked Alex to answer a few questions about what it is like being a father while also working at Kipsu.
Join us in welcoming Jaime Hasama to our Customer Partnership Team! Prior to Kipsu, Jaime studied Biology and Psychology at Macalester College. In her free time, Jaime enjoys playing her ukulele and petting cats and dogs, which she prides herself in her ability to accurately identify dog breeds. We’re so excited to have her a part of the Kipsu team and asked her to chat about her experience at Kipsu so far.
Join us in welcoming Nate Celeste to the third round of Kipsu’s Entrepreneurship Leadership Rotational Program, the Gamma Cohort! Prior to Kipsu, Nate majored in Computer Science at Case Western University in Ohio, as well as minoring in Film Studies and Political Science. Nate has been expanding his skills with building connected (loT) devices. One of his recent projects was an LED lamp that can be controlled using an app/web platform, and now is working on adding Alexa/Google Home/Homekit support. He also enjoys attending concerts, soccer games, and exploring Minneapolis. We’re excited to have him join the Kipsu team and asked Nate to share his experience with Kipsu so far.

Join us in welcoming TJ Lind as Kipsu’s first Marketing Coordinator! Prior to Kipsu, TJ worked with Lyft to help grow their brand in the Twin Cities. TJ grew up in Duluth, attended school at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, and has been in Minneapolis for the last 3 years, where he also runs a small consulting business. Outside of work, you’ll find TJ brunching at The Lynhall or Red Rabbit in Minneapolis, at shows at First Ave and the Fine Line, and getting lost in the Walker and MIA. We’re thrilled to have him join the Kipsu team and asked TJ to share his experience with Kipsu so far.
