Kaeli Wuotila Joins Kipsu!

Join us in welcoming Kaeli Wuotila to our Customer Partnership Team! Prior to Kipsu, Kaeli studied Marketing and Psychology at Xavier University. In her free time, Kaeli enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking and spending time with friends and family at her cabin in Northern Minnesota. We're so excited to have her a part of the Kipsu team and asked her to chat about her experience at Kipsu so far.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

Kipsu offers so much more than the typical workplace. I could tell immediately that they truly cared about their customers and their employees. A little over a year ago, I worked in a toxic work environment that pitted individuals against each other instead of promoting the overall growth of the company and the team. Kipsu made it very clear that they were focused on achieving group goals while still encouraging individuals to accomplish their personal goals - that is the kind of company everyone wants to work for.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

The Kipsu team is always happy (seriously, ALWAYS). They laugh, joke around, all while accomplishing their tasks. It’s quite refreshing to work with a really tight-knit community. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely excited to get to know me.

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I’m really looking forward to advancing my sales experience and learning the ins-and-outs of the technology industry. I’m excited to add my own flare to our tried and trusted techniques, and I’m excited to learn from my outstanding coworkers and build from my past experiences.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value?

My favorite Kipsu core value is Go Beyond Together. I’m eager to collaborate with such accomplished individuals, and I’m excited to be a part of a team that focuses on working hard.

If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

If I could meet any person over a shared dinner, I would want to sit down with J.K. Rowling. I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and would love to pick her brain on how she created (in my eyes) the perfect story for all ages and interests, and how she helped direct one of the best movie series of all time. I think it is amazing that she has come out to talk about her mental health struggles and how low she was when she created Harry Potter. She is a woman of creativity and resilience, that I would very much like to meet.
