Join us in welcoming Matt Gasper to our Customer Success Team! Prior to Kipsu, Matt spent a few years managing and training baristas in the specialty coffee industry and most recently graduated from the UMN Coding Bootcamp. Outside of work, Matt likes playing Dungeons & Dragons and Overwatch, as well as baking and grilling. We're thrilled to have him join the Kipsu team and asked Matt to share his first few days with Kipsu so far.
What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?
Throughout the entire interview process it was clear that Kipsu doesn't just look for the right person for the job, but they make sure that they're the right company for you. Everyone is dedicated to working together to do the best they can and I just had to be a part of it.
What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?
Everyone is truly working together for the betterment of everyone else on the team. There are no bad questions, everyone's willing to lend a hand, and they're all having fun doing it.
What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?
I'm looking forward to learning new technology to help improve Kipsu and improve my personal skillset.
What is your favorite Kipsu core value?

If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?
I'd like to meet Nicolas Cage. Say what you will about some of his movies, but he always puts 110% into any role he takes on and I'd love to know more about the way he sees life, art, and acting.
