McKaylyn Zwieg Joins Kipsu!

Join us in welcoming McKaylyn Zwieg to Kipsu as a Market Development Representative. Prior to Kipsu, McKaylyn worked for another Minneapolis tech company as their Lead Research Analyst. Outside of work, you'll find McKaylyn taking advantage of the Twin Cities' foodie scene and enjoying time with her friends, family, and cats.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

In looking for my next move I knew that I wanted to stay working in tech in Minneapolis, which left many options open! However, I was immediately drawn to Kipsu's culture above all else. The team here is passionate, strategic, and customer-obsessed. The feeling that everyone here is aligned under a singular and wholesome mission is what makes Kipsu stand out beyond other tech companies I've worked with.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

This company is filled with absolutely brilliant people. During my first week, I learned that almost half of my team had joined Kipsu within the last year, yet everyone has such a strong sense of camaraderie. The first week at Kipsu is a whirlwind crash-course in the product, company, and industry. Everyone is so supportive that it's easy to pick up quickly and so passionate about their work that it's infectious!

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I'm excited to grow with Kipsu both personally and professionally. The "all hands on deck" attitude is going to give me exposure to all the different teams and job functions, allowing me to explore my professional interest areas. More than anything, I can't wait to deliver great work with my team.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value?

The core value I resonate with most is definitely "Go Beyond Together." The team-oriented culture is what drew me here, and it's clearly how Kipsu is growing so successfully. I'm a passionate believer in "team work makes the dream work."

If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

It's impossible for me to decide between Elon Musk and Post Malone. These are two very different brains that I'd love to pick. I value learning new things from others who have different lifestyles and perspectives than my own.
