Join us in welcoming Sarah Bruber to our Customer Success Team! Prior to Kipsu, Sarah studied Business Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas. Throughout her college career, she coached volleyball, was involved in the St. Paul/Minneapolis coffee community and enjoyed spending days up north on Gull Lake. Shortly after graduating, Sarah backpacked solo throughout Europe for about a month and a half. We're so excited to have her a part of the Kipsu team and asked her to chat about her experience at Kipsu so far.
What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?
After graduating, working at a company where I wouldn't be just a number was important. I wanted to work in an environment where I could create an impact and continuously learn. Throughout the interview process with Kipsu, instead of meeting with one specific department, I met with a variety of individuals at different points in their careers. I could tell Kipsu wasn't looking for someone who had all the skills or answers. Kipsu was looking to get to know me as an individual because, as I'm learning, growing a company with the right people is vital to its success.
What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?
Kipsu is an extremely collaborative work environment, no question is a bad question, and someone is always willing to help!
What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?
I look forward to getting to know the specifics of our product and users and how my role at Kipsu collaborates with others' to ensure a flourishing business practice.
What is your favorite Kipsu core value?
My favorite Kipsu core value is Never Be Satisfied. After my first week at Kipsu, I noticed how little the company settles for anything less than great -- and even then, continues to strive for further growth and development. We're constantly working to improve our product and customer experience.
If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?
I don't have a specific person in mind, but I would love to meet a great ancestor, who lived around the1800s, for dinner. I would spend most of our time together learning about my family's history and the life he or she lived.
